Follow the Drinking Gourd was a way that helped slaves escape to there freedom.They used the under ground rail road to head north.They didn't have a map so they followed the north star.

Follow the Drinking Gourd was a song that helped slaves escaped to their freedom. When the slaves tried to escape it was risky because if they got caught it could cost them their lives.But for the slaves it was worth it to escape.The song Follow the Drinking Gourd helped them go north.

                  How do people communicate?

Back then people communicated by letters and face to face. Now people communicate by using their phones to text or call. They also use social media things like Facebook.

My favorite way to communicate is using my phone to call or text. I use my phone to text my friends and call my friends and family. Using a phone is the easiest way to communicate for me. Also it’s the fastest way to communicate because you could put in a number and press call and your talking with them. If you like to text you just type what you want to say and you press send and who ever you sent it to gets it.

The second way I communicate is by Facebook. I text my friends on Facebook. Also when you make friends on Facebook you could communicate with them by texting them. Also I use Facebook to talk with friends and family who are far away. Those  are the ways I use Facebook.

Some people say using social media ,things like Facebook is the best way to communicate but, here’s why their wrong. A lot of people don’t have internet so how are they going to get on. If you have a phone you could text and call without internet. So if you have a phone you could communicate much easier then using social media.

All in all, Those are the reasons I use Facebook and my phone. In my opinion  using Facebook and my phone are the best way to communicate for me. If I was telling someone what to use I would recommend using a phone or Facebook.
